What’s Being Tested:
- Histamine
Important Notes:
- This test cannot be mailed and collected in New York state.
- If permitted by your primary doctor, stop all medications 48 hours prior to blood collection.
- Avoid all caffeine products and smoking 24 hours prior to collection.
- You should rest 30 minutes before venipuncture.
- Blood should be drawn when you are in a supine position.
- A 12-hour fast is recommended.
