Lyme IgXSpot Test
The IgXSpot test uses the latest in technology for the Enzyme-Linked Assays. Since those with early exposure to Lyme may not produce antibodies, looking at T-cell (early activation of the immune system) can help better understand Lyme (b. burgdoferi) exposure.
Furthermore, those with chronic Lyme disease may also have trouble producing antibodies. Since the standard of care is to test antibodies first, many may be told that they don’t have Lyme disease when in fact they do. The IgXSpot can help detect both early and late stage Lyme.
