Mycotoxins Urine Test by Vibrant America
The Mycotoxins test is a urine test that measures mycotoxin excretion in urine. Mycotoxins are toxic compounds innately produced by certain types of molds. Molds that produce mycotoxins can grow on food such as cereals, coffee, dried fruit, nuts, and spices or on water-damaged building materials. IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This test is available in the USA (excluding NY State).
- Fasting is not required for this test. However, if you fast for 12 hours prior to sample collection, it may increase the number of mycotoxins excreted in the urine. Please consult with your primary healthcare provider.
- The lab recommends collecting the first-morning urine upon awakening, prior to eating or drinking.
- Consult with your primary healthcare provider about discontinuing medications or dietary supplements.
