Important Information About Certain Tests:
Th1/Th2/Th17 Test
- We will mail you a test kit.
- Contact any local hospital or draw station for sample collection. Inform them that you will be bring in the test kit and all you need is a blood draw.
- This test can not be drawn or shipped from New York.
What’s Being Tested:
- Th1 cytokines (IL-2, IL6, IFN-y, TNF-a)
- Th2 cytokines (IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, IL-13)
- Th17 cytokine (IL-17)
- Each cytokine is reported as a baseline and stimulated.
- For those with autoimmune concerns, It is suggested to run this test during times of “flare-ups” or when feeling “bad”.
Advanced CD4/CD8 Ratio Test
- We will mail you a test kit.
- Contact any local hospital or draw station for sample collection. Inform them that you will be bring in the test kit and all you need is a blood draw.
- This test can not be drawn or shipped from New York.
What’s Being Tested:
- Absolute Lymphocytes
- Absolute and Percentage CD3 Cells
- Absolute and Percentage CD4 Cells (T Helper Cells)
- Absolute and Percentage CD8 Cells (T Suppressor Cells)
- CD4/CD8 Ratio
- Absolute and Percentage CD19 Cells
- Absolute and Percentage CD16 + CD56 Cells (Natural Killer Cells (NK Cells))
- For those with autoimmune concerns, It is suggested to run this test during times of flare-ups or when feeling “bad”.
All Other Tests
- You will be emailed a requisition form that need to be printed and taken to the draw facility.
- Fasting is not required.
- Tests can not be collected in NY, NJ, Mass., or RI.
