Coronavirus (COVID-19) Vaccine Response Test Panel Kit
This is a comprehensive test panel that gives the ability to monitor the overall response to the vaccine. The panel consists of the highly accurate SARS-CoV-2 ImmunoBlot antibody tests (IgM and IgG), and a SARS-CoV-2 IgXSpot T-cell test. ImmunoBlots measure antibody response and the IgXSpot measures T-cell reactivity.
The COVID-19 vaccine is designed to invoke a potent response to the most dangerous parts of the coronavirus, the spike proteins. Individuals can have three possible immune responses to the vaccine: Antibodies, T-cells, or both.
These blood tests can help you and your doctor monitor the overall response of the COVID-19 vaccine to ensure a good immune response.
Test results are helpful when determining:
- If your body is producing SARS-CoV-2 antibodies (IgM and IgG).
- If your SARS-CoV-2 T-cells are activated.
- If you may need another vaccine dose.
- If you are protected from others.
- If others are protected from you.
- If you have natural immunity from previous exposure.
SARS-CoV-2 IgXSpot T-cell Test
For most coronaviruses, antibodies, which help target the virus directly, can, in some, be short-lived. T-cells are another part of our immune system that targets the infected cells, keeping viruses from reproduction gan can provide long-term immunity even if antibody levels are low.
Why are Coronavirus Antibodies Important?
Antibodies are produced when we are exposed to foreign invaders like the COVID-19. Not only do they help fight the virus, but they also help your immune system develop protective immunity so that your body is better prepared if you get exposed again.
Why ImmunoBlot Coronavirus Antibody Test is Superior
Most COVID-19 antibody tests measure one part (antigen) of the virus, making it hard to distinguish between other similar viruses.
In combination with the COVID-19 PCR test, (the gold-standard coronavirus test to detect if you are infected or are a carrier; not for individual sale currently, get notified when available), the ImmunoBlot test can not only help verify exposure/infection but equally as important, to indicate if you have protective immunity against the COVID-19 coronavirus.
We must not take the chance on coronavirus testing that produces a greater rate of false positives. PCR and ImmunoBlot testing can produce more accurate results.
Coronavirus COVID-19 Antibody Behavior and Test Results Possibilities:
What’s Being Tested:

- Test results will be reported to your state’s health department.
Blood Draw for Coronavirus COVID-19 Immunoblot and IgXSport T-cell Test
- You will need to take the kit with you to a contracted draw location to be drawn by a phlebotomist.
- You also have the option to have the sample drawn at your doctor’s office, hospital, or make arrangements with a mobile phlebotomy service. Some draw locations will not collect for COVID-19 related tests. Call first to verify.
- All the instructions for the phlebotomist are on the requisition form that is either in the kit or we will email to you.
- If you are ordering both the Coronavirus COVID-19 PCR and ImmunoBlot antibodies (recommended), keep the swab refrigerated until ready to ship and include the ice pack included in the kit. Read all instructions.
