HIV Blood Test
Confidential HIV Testing for Teens and Adults
This test is used to detect the presences of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). If the antibody test is positive, a confirmation test via a Western Blot analysis will be run automatically.
What’s Being Tested:
- HIV-1/2 Antibodies (Immunoassay 4th generation)
- HIV-1/2 Antibody Differentiation (if the above antibodies return positive)

Notes:
- If HIV Antigen and Antibody, 4th Generation Screen is Repeatedly Reactive, HIV-1/2 Antibody Differentiation will be performed at an additional charge. In this case, you will receive an electronic invoice from us.
- If your test results for HIV are positive, you may be contacted by the CDC. Any CDC representatives are legally bound to protect your personal information. No information will be released to your insurance company, your employer or any other persons without your authorization.
