Important Information About Certain Tests:

Th1/Th2/Th17 Test

• We will mail you a test kit.

• Contact any local hospital or draw station for sample collection. Inform them that you will be bring in the test kit and all you need is a blood draw.

• This test can not be drawn or shipped from New York.

What’s Being Tested:

• Th1 cytokines (IL-2, IL6, IFN-y, TNF-a)

• Th2 cytokines (IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, IL-13)

• Th17 cytokine (IL-17)

• Each cytokine is reported as a baseline and stimulated.

• For those with autoimmune concerns, It is suggested to run this test during times of “flare-ups” or when feeling “bad”.
  

Advanced CD4/CD8 Ratio Test

• We will mail you a test kit.

• Contact any local hospital or draw station for sample collection. Inform them that you will be bring in the test kit and all you need is a blood draw.

What’s Being Tested:

• Absolute Lymphocytes

• Absolute and Percentage CD3 Cells

• Absolute and Percentage CD4 Cells (T Helper Cells)

• Absolute and Percentage CD8 Cells (T Suppressor Cells)

• CD4/CD8 Ratio

• Absolute and Percentage CD19 Cells

• Absolute and Percentage CD16 + CD56 Cells (Natural Killer Cells (NK Cells))

All Other Tests

• You will be emailed a requisition form that need to be printed.

• Fasting is not required.

• Tests can not be collected in NY, NJ, Mass., or RI.

• C3a and C4a labs are purposefully done by Quest because they are more accurate. However, you will need to go to a different lab
